It’s been a long time since our last show, but we’re back with more and will continue to deliver regular content. Life gets in the way sometimes.

This time we’re debunking, or be-dunking, myths about bats, and sharing some interesting facts about these often misunderstood creatures of the night. We also share stories of bats trapped in attics and bedrooms. Roger brings along some sufficiently-wacky news items.

We’re still here, just busy…

Hello podcast audience! Drew here. We’re apologize for the LONG absence, but things have been a little busy lately. For the past several months I’ve been recording, editing and mixing music for an upcoming CD release and that has taken me away from much of my other activities.

However Cindy, Roger and I did spend some time together earlier this year. We took a short vacation to Florida, where Roger lives, and had planned on doing a quick podcast at Roger’s house but that didn’t pan out. Just not enough time to work it in. We did manage to shoot a short profile video of the Tampa Bay Brewing Company for one of my other web endeavors, Cryptobrewology.com.

Now that work is wrapping up for the CD project I’m hoping we can get back to some sort of podcasting schedule and provide you with some more entertaining and informative shows in the near future, so stay tuned. We haven’t gone anywhere, just got a little busy.

Vampires and Verevolves! Ooooh Veddy Scadddy….

We’ll be recording a creepy Halloween cast this weekend, with an extra spooky topic on Werewolves and Vampires. Roger and I will present the lore and legends of these fine fanged and furry creatures, while Cindy brings us up to speed on the science, and explores some real medical conditions that may have led to belief in these classic monsters.

Do werewolves and vampires really exist? We’ll also take a look at some modern twists on these creatures of folklore. Believe it or not, some people are convinced that they are real vampires, and some people do really believe in shape-shifting manbeasts that roam in the dark of night… Ooooooohhhhh.
